Interior Painting
Careful prep, crisp cut lines and smooth, even coats on walls, ceilings, trim and millwork.
A high-end paint job is mostly prep
Paint shows everything underneath it. Dents, open joints and rough patches all get louder under a fresh coat. That's why most of my time on a paint job goes into filling, sanding, caulking and priming before the finish coats go on.
Then comes the part people notice: straight cut lines at ceilings and corners, an even sheen on the walls and smooth trim with no brush marks. Because I also install trim and millwork, paneled walls and detailed casing get painted by someone who knows exactly how they were built.

Every surface, inside the house
Every project is quoted to its own scope. Typical work includes:
- Walls & ceilings
- Trim, baseboard & casing
- Doors & door frames
- Paneled walls & wainscoting
- Built-ins & shelving
- Stair rails, posts & balusters
- Accent walls & color changes
- Patching, caulking & prep
The standard I paint to
Protected rooms
Floors, furniture and fixtures are covered, and the work area is cleaned up at the end of each day.
Crisp lines
Clean cut lines where walls meet ceilings and trim, with no wavy edges and no paint where it doesn't belong.
Smooth trim
Trim is sanded between coats and finished smooth and even.
Trim I installed, ready for paint
The same hands that install the millwork paint it. These are my own walls right before the finish coat.

From walkthrough to final look

Paint
Walls and ceilings cut in and rolled, then trim and doors brushed and finished.
Final Walkthrough
We check every room together, and I touch up anything before I call it done.
Interior painting questions
Can you paint trim and paneling you didn't install?
Yes. Existing trim gets the same prep, with caulking, filling and sanding before it's painted.
Do you paint ceilings, doors and trim, or just walls?
All of it. A room looks finished when the ceiling, walls, trim and doors are all done to the same standard.
How do you price interior painting?
By the rooms and surfaces included and the amount of prep needed. You get a written quote after the walkthrough.
